I have seen many people refer to folding on the threads....what exactly is it? A benchmark? What is it for? Who makes it? Sorry I know these are probably really basic questions for everyone here but I'd like to know if anyone can post...or link...I'll read

Do you ever see the folded proteins or any of what is done? How do you know if its working . How long has this been going on and has there been any positive results so far? It looks very intersting and intriguing...I wonder how many computers are folding right now
