Rejoining the Fold... but first some help needed...

Hi all,
After an extended absence I'm coming back for some more folding action; too many CPU cycles are going down the toilet.
I use Ubuntu 8.04.1 AMD64. I'm trying to configure the client. A terminal has just spat this at me:

Am I all set to go? What does 'User ID not found locally mean'?

It's never affected me before. I think it means just what it says but it won't affect you in any way.

Hmmm... one other thing. I configured under the wrong user name ('pedrogent') when I should have used my old 'pedro'. I've done a few WUs before so I may as well run under 'pedro'. Is it simply a case of running the config again?

Do you have a real dual core CPU (not the fake hyperthreading ones)? Are you running the SMP client?

Welcome back to the fold.
I believe, though someone will doubtlessly correct me if I'm wrong, that it simply means that there is no local cache with that user name. I think that you should only see that message once (provided that you let the client run long enough to download a work unit.
You can always quit and restart the client to check. You ought to get a hex string automatically as your User ID when loading from a cached job. It is not a problem in any case unless you can't connect to the server.

Yeah a dual-core. She's putting along with an SMP client.

OK, yeh, I might actually join the Nation. One more WU and I think I'll make the switch.
