I just started folding with my PS3 and its score/day is blowing me away. I'm curious though if a high end GPU like the 280 would have a better score/day than the PS3. Does anyone happen to know?

PS3 is locked at 900PPD (all PS3 perform the same)
The GPU2 client's benchmark system (an ATI 3850) is set at 1500PPD. But there are faster and slower GPUs. The Nvidia cards with the G92 core (8800GT, 9800GTX) do just shy of 5000 PPD and then higher depending on drivers, number of shaders and speed. A GTX 280 would do a bit more. Not sure what the exact number is though.
