W00t. It's that time of year again.
Last year, look what we were able to accomplish:

I think we can easily beat 20k, especially with the GPU clients.

So in summary, I'd like to encourage everyone who doesn't regularly contribute (talking to myself here) to put up a machine or 2 in honor of our favorite TR user. If you need any help, see the stickies in TR Distributed Computing Effort forum, or post here and we'll be glad to help out.

I was looking for a stat thing and no luck. Part of the problem is the lack of html code ability in phpBB3.

I'll rifle through the X64's and fasterxp's and startup a few tonight.

I have an 8800 gs coming will fire that up for a month or so. That should be good for 3-4k.

I got some of my farm going again over the past week, so I'll kick of 12-20 bots tonight. I don't run them much, its dissapointing to watch a single e6300 node crank out nearly 3,000 points/day, and each AXP use the same power and do 120 points.

Switched a 24 hour laptop worth about 350 ppd to frankenbot. Might try to get smp working on it. That should be worth a good amount more as its just two single core clients. Also switching a 6 hour a day laptop worth about 500 ppd, might get smp working on it if I can get it to run more often.

I will switch my GPU over for halloween thats worth the real 4k ppd.

I think the only way that will happen is if we get help from JPinto, FBW, and/or Fuzzhead. I've already donated 4 SMP clients and 1 GPU client to Franky. I currently have my 9800GX2 folding under my old username to see what kind of PPD it's getting (Fahmom is so erratic in what it reports). Once I've gotten a few days in to see how it's doing I will move it over to Franky.

But, to scare Seggy, we need the other big folders to give up the chase for a few weeks and combine forces.

Done. finally got it up. Looks like right around 4k/day.

I tried kicking some bots, but the 64 bit bots were coming back to "cass" I have to either change dhcp to load the bot or tftp it to its address.... will work on that sometime in the next few days.

I hereby 'suspend' my campaign (no,really!) to pursue UGN for the month of October, so that the appropriate resources be diverted to a cause that is much bigger than myself!
