Problem, cannot send queue!

Wed Jun 04, 2003 6:00 pm

I have a HT ennabled 3 Ghz P4. Running 1 f@h client in every thread, 2 procceses.

I am getting this estrange problem. Yesterday I got a terrible crash must probably caused by my damn Audigy 2 (thinking in change to another card). I goy BSOD and the system resseted itself (I am on XP). I ran checkdisk and it found several orphaned files in the drive where f@h was working. Lost both units (damn, they were on 75%) the clients restarted at 0. Now my 1st client is working ok, but CPU2 client is giving me this message:

Couldn't send HTTP request to server
+ Could not connect to Work Server (results)
- Error: Could not transmit unit 00 (completed June 4). Keeping unit
in queue.

Help me please, it is working already in the next unit. I have tried deleting the cfg file, downloading the client again, nothing works.

Thanks in advance.

Would'nt be concerned about it Thorz.

Noticed that the Folding servers are assigning Work Units ok.

But they havent accepted any finished ones for most of the day.
It will sit in your queue and get sent up when they fix the problem with the servers.

Cheers.

F@H is quirky that way. Sometimes you just have to sit on it until they eventually send. It could be that one server if free and another is busy or down. If you are worried, reset the client and it should send automatically. You could also add the flag -send all to the F@H shortcut. It will send all finished units if possible once you start the program.

Its confirmed in this thread by ChelseaOilman, a moderator in the folding forums:

"If it's a server problem, yes.
I now have 4 queued wu's waiting for server .123.
Just be patient. "

I think we have to wait then...
