I built a cardboard pinhole camera that used 126 film cartridges.

Aside from several disposable ones, my first camera came on my Razr cellphone.

Leica R4E with Vario-Elmar 35-70/3.5 lens. Saved up my pennies and got a 50 Summicron-R (used), that was a nice lens.

Minolta XTSI full auto 35mm with a craptastic kit lens. Speaking of lenses I just picked up a 70~200 f2.8 Tamron lens a couple of days ago. Its schweet but it should be for the price.

Pretty sure I had one of these. If not this one, it was definitely a Ninja Turtles camera. It would take 4 pictures per frame and put a little image of one of the turtles in the corner. It was pretty awesome.

Don't remember the model, but I do know it was a Minolta 110 of some sort.

The first camera I played with (without knowing it was a camera, when I was too young) was probably a Nikon EM with 50mm lens. The first camera I took pictures with was probably one of those flat Kodak cameras that used 110 film. First camera I ever used for artistic purposes was a Minolta Zoom 150. First digital was probably a Kodak 2.1 MP.

My very first camera was one that my grandfather bought me at drug store for like $5. It had flip view finder using my Mk.1 eyeball...I didn't use it much.

Recently (as in this year) I bought a Canon PowerShot A3000IS. Does the job for what I use it for.

I had something in this form factor except it wasn't specialty branded, it was just blue and shot ordinary images. I later moved on to 35mm film P&S. I don't have a lot of images from either camera because I loathed the cost of film and developing. Still didn't get my first digital until 2005, though.

I had one of those as well, back in the mid 90's. My first real camera that I count was an HP 3.2 Megapixel in 2003. Then upgraded to a Canon a520 when that broke. Then upgraded to a canon a620. Then upgraded to a Canon Rebel XTi (which I sold). Now all we have is my wife's Canon sx20is.

Nikon F Body with a decent array of lenses. It was really my dad's of course but I learned a fair bit about photography most of which I've forgotten by now :P

A Kodak disc camera, circa 1986 or '87. It looked similar to the second picture in Wikipedia's article on disc film.

I had one of these. I'm not sure if Minolta Pocket Autopak 460T was exact model#, I believe mine was all black, but i clearly remember the ability to slide the lens to select between normal and "telephoto" which zoomed the image a bit by sliding in/out a lens in front of both the viewfinder and the actual lens. 110 film was great.

(not my image:)
