I might be interested. Is it true that Yahoo is going to be doing live updates for free for the whole season (vs just the first couple of weeks as they did in the past)?

Well, I'm thinking of going to ESPN this year. Its free, and me and another friend already have a league there that's not filling up very fast.

I have joined. I'm going to be missing the draft as I'll be at a wedding/reception at that point. As long as I can pre-rank (I'm sure I can, I just haven't looked into it yet) I'll at least get a team.

I have no experience with ESPN leagues - any major differences from yahoo? I see it looks similar - H2H format, 5x5, weekly matchup, daily roster locks.
This is probably a stupid question, but I also see 3 bench positions listed under the hitters - does this mean bench players can only be hitters?
The saturday night draft time isn't ideal for me either - how set is that?

I'll look at it again tomorrow but i think i like my team. I do like that there's not separate starting and relief pitcher slots, so i can jus tstart everyone all the time and be done with it.

I like the team in my offline friends league better, but this team is OK. I don't really like the ESPN interface, though. I'm playing this league on ESPN and my other league on Yahoo, and I don't know if it's just that I'm used to Yahoo's interface or if it's really better, but I prefer it. I like the drag-and-drop to move people around.
