NFL XLV - Week 6

Sat Oct 16, 2010 8:54 pm

I went 8-6 last week, which now puts me at 40-36 for the season, barely keeping my head above water. I would be living on the streets if I played pro-line like this.

This weekend should prove to be loads of fun, especially with the cowboys playing the vikings in the afternoon, and McNabb vs. Manning . . .IN WASHINGTON!!!.

Sunday, Oct.17
MIami @ Green Bay - Its cold.
San Diego @ St. Louis - I'm only picking the chargers cause I'm supposed to. :-?
Baltimore @ New England - Not that cold though.
Cleveland @ Pittsburgh - It was never about the Steelers' offense in the first place. I don't know why they're trying to make it seem like big ben matters.
Kansas City @ Houston - My upset pick of the week.
Detroit @ NYG - Giants D looking good.
Atlanta @ Philly - Kolb ain't no Vick.
Seattle @ Chicago - Anybody thinks Lynch will make a difference to the seahawks run game?
New Orleans @ Tampa Bay - ususally a good tight game. . . .I think.
NYJ @ Denver - there's nothing happening in the mile high city right now.
Oakland @ San Fran - I say put in David Carr. All these number one QB picks suck big ones for the last 5 years . . Alex Smith I'm looking at you.
Dallas @ Minnesota - Romo could drop off a cliff!!
Indy @ Washington - Shannahan has quite a bit more work to do.

Monday, Oct.18
Tennessee @ Jacksonville - Sims-Walker????????? what is wrong with you?????

BYES: Arizona, Buffalo, Carolina, Cinci. - TO probably will lose it after the bye - start concentrating on himself again.

Alright people, getthose rosters filled in please. I know who you are!!!

So far I'm 47-29 on the season. I went 7-7 last week, mostly because I missed the upsets. Not this week though! It's an Upset Special Edition!

Sunday, Oct.17
South Beach @ Green Bay
San Diego @ St. Louis
Baltimore @ New England - Have you seen their defense?
Cleveland @ Pittsburgh - This is not an upset.
Kansas City @ Houston
Detroit @ Giants - Will the Lions win on the road
Atlanta @ Philadelphia
Seattle @ Chicago
New Orleans @ Tampa Bay - The magic is fading.
Jets @ Denver
Oakland @ San Francisco - Bad teams lose games.
Dallas @ Minnesota
Indianapolis @ Washington

Monday, Oct.18
Tennessee @ Jackson-ville - Attack of the Hyphens!

See, maybe I did right by not posting any predictions. That way I avoid embarrassing 4-8 monstrosities like you guys' record so far. Well, at best one of you could get to 6-8.

Steelers won, I'm happy. Colt McCoy looked good though which is worrisome. There was a weird penalty during the game, "inappropriate touching" I didn't know what that means but it sounds dirty. I thought it was on Big Ben, I was like "NO! HE DIDN'T LEARN A THING!"

Seriously though, what the hell is "inappropriate touching"? In a football context.

Remember the one from a couple of years ago; "giving him the business"?

What we have today is way too much pluribus and not enough unum.

Trent Edwards??? Seriously? I guess he fits in well with the Jaguars short pass system.

So now we have a battle of the back-ups.

Edwards look like the same QB the Bills parted with. what a useless QB.

Garrard out with a concussion now - sorry idchaffee.
