Verizon iPhone

Sat Jan 08, 2011 12:15 am

Those of you hoping and wishing for it to be true, the time may have come. There are numerous rumors, including one in the WSJ, that Verizon will host an event this coming Tuesday announcing that it will be offering the iPhone in the near future. Rejoice! Suck it AT&T!

I for one own an Android smartphone and have an upgrade coming up mid-year so hopefully they can get a fully equipped LTE iPhone out by then. I have always "kinda" wanted an iPhone, but AT&T wireless is a company I will not give my monies to. I just hope the data plans aren't outrageously priced.

I wouldn't start jumping in joy until they officially announce it. iPhone on Verizon would create an ultimate combination which could be both good and bad in the long run. Also, I've been a Verizon Wireless customer for over a decade and I must say as a company they're far from being my favorite. Their plans suck with a passion and they love to overcharge any time they can.

With that said I currently have a very crappy Android phone I can't wait to get rid of (HTC Eris) so if iPhone does show up I'll give it a ponder.
