My workplace recently got me an Acer Liquid E, a droid phone I've been pleasantly surprised by. However, since I've come to use it as an MP3 player in the car, I've had a bit of an annoyance. To change a song, I have to tap the power button to bring the screen back on, then unlock the phone by sliding the lock across. Only then does it bring up the controls for the integrated media application.
I was wondering if there was an app that bypassed all this. A media application the prevented the phone from locking when running would be nice. I've looked around, but have had minimal success. Does anyone have any droid media player options that might help out with this small annoyance?

The Winamp player for android has a lock screen widget where instead of the lock screen you get a winamp screen with play/pause button and next/previous track button.
