Appropriately, on the Nordschleife.

I may need a PS3.
What we have today is way too much pluribus and not enough unum.

Yep. It's like that. I've been playing alot of gt5, untill my ps3 died :(

I think the game looks great, a little TOO clear but great nevertheless. Barring the spectators being low res sprites and the skybox being a rather low resolution that doesn't move when you drive, it's a damn pretty game.

You may have to. Excluding the real simulator grade that F1 teams use and high end simulator-like engines like rFactor, GT5 is as close as it gets.

I have heard that you may have to blow a fan into it to help with the PS3's cooling.
The Model M is not for the faint of heart. You either like them or hate them.

That's generally not necessary. However, I do know from first-hand experience that it cools better vertically than it does horizontally. As in, when mine sat horizontally it would spin the fan up to 100% after a few minutes. Putting it vertically fixed that.
I do not understand what I do. For what I want to do I do not do, but what I hate I do.

Ah my house is cold as heck all the time and the fans never needed to spin up too much. Besides, it all started going downhill after a nasty power outage one fine evening.
Now less talking about my broken PS3 and more about GT5.

I've had the PS3 since Christmas, and GT5 is keeping me away from the excessive number of great PC games I picked up in the Steam sale. It's seriously addictive, and even more fun since I've got together with a group of colleagues for a bit of online racing. The PS3 does get pretty hot and audible sat horizontally on the desk, so I might have to give vertical a go.

I am so tempted to pick up the new PS3 just for GT5. I have wasted so many hours on GT1, GT2 and GT3. I never play the same amount into GT4.

I'll stick with Forza on my 360.

First time I saw the Madrid track gameplay video and later got to actually play the track (I don't own a PS3), let me tell you it's bone chilling damn accurate for a game. On that video, at 1:22, there is a building right in the middle, at a distance... mate, that thing is blocks away in real life, they could have easily forgo that detail, and no one would have noticed the difference, but going to the extent of adding that content just comes to show some of the reasons why it took 5+ years to develop the thing..

I don't own either but having spent a fair amount of time playing both while at friend's houses I've got to agree with you. Forza is a much better driving game.

Hmmm.... i think i will finally get a current gen console when the Ico/SotC pack comes out. Then i will take a week off work, purchase GT5, Demon's Soul, UC1&2 and Ico/SotC and maybe Valkyria Chronicles and get it over and done with. Then sell everything and switch back to PC. Just waiting for the PS3 to come out with a game pack of things i want for about $400AUD
