By now, you've surely read our coverage of Nvidia's GeForce GTX 560 Ti graphics processor. Pretty sweet, isn't it? The 560 easily has enough grunt to run the latest and greatest games at 1080p resolutions with all their eye candy turned up—antialiasing and anisotropic filtering included. With a suggested retail price of $250, it's pretty affordable, too.
If that doesn't get you excited, how about a GeForce 560 GTX Ti that costs absolutely nothing? MSI has graciously provided us with two of its N560GTX-Ti Twin Frozr II graphics cards, and we're going to give them away to a couple of lucky readers.
The Twin Frozr II features a beefy dual-fan cooler with quad heatpipes and plenty of polished metal. This hulking heatsink kept an 880MHz version of the GTX 560 cooler and quieter than competing offerings from Asus and Gigabyte. The cards we're giving away are standard models clocked at 822MHz for the core and 4 GT/s for the memory, but they have the same "military class" electrical components as the hot-clocked model.
In addition to a couple of graphics cards, MSI is also kicking in 30 game coupons, each of which has unlock codes for Mafia II and Just Cause 2. We also have a handful of game coupons to distribute among our forum moderators. (Interested mods should send a private message to our biz guy, Adam "Inkling" Eiberger, in the forums—quantities are limited, so first come, first served.) Folks who want to throw their name into the hat for the giveaway need only to reply to this thread. Please, only one entry per household. We'll be keeping an eye on forum accounts and IP addresses to ensure that no one tries to game the system. As with our previous giveaways, this one is limited to residents of the United States and Canada only.
This thread will stay open until midnight CST on Sunday, January 30. After it's locked, we'll choose at random two winners for the graphics cards and another 30 for the games. The winners will be posted on Monday, January 31. Thanks to MSI for making this giveaway possible.
