Linux compatible weather stations

Mon Mar 14, 2011 8:52 am

Does anyone know of any relatively cheap weather stations which can be connected to a linux box? (Specifically Debian 6 ARM)

I'm tracking internal temperature & power usage right now with a cheap power monitor but would really like to track outside temperature, humidity and perhaps rainfall.

Software isn't a problem so long as the incoming data format is reasonably logical.

Man, didn't you ever have like a high school physics course?
TI makes all kinds of cheap data collection tools. I'd be horrified if the incoming data format isn't logical.

A quick web search found DIGI WATCHPORT/H USB HUMIDITY & TEMPERATURE SENSOR (for windows OS)

Not sure what counts as cheap, though.
