New Laptop advice

Tue May 24, 2011 9:26 am

With my soon to be separation from my fiancee, I will be needing a new Laptop when I move. Currently we share a Newer 13.3" Macbook and she gets that by default. So I have been shopping for a laptop for me. I really have my eye on the Fusion from AMD, specifically this one: http://amzn.to/kH7n1P I don't need a desktop replacement, or a powerful cpu and gpu. Mainly it is for the internet because I have a tablet, gaming machine and a HTPC. So what are you peoples opinion on this laptop? Please indulge and thanks.

You may also want to check out the HP dm1z. It's about the same price but the page is down at the moment...

Another vote for Fusion here, although I'm partial to the Lenovo X120e because of the non-glossy screen.

I'm not sure I understand what you need it for... but I would vote for the hp dm1z.

Ditto - I put down the dough on this a week ago, but looks like a long wait. Estimated ship data is July 1st.

Dealzon for the Lenovo brings it down to $399 ...that is enticing to jump now.
