My sound-card should be arriving soon, maybe tomorrow. So the next upgrade will be from 2GB of RAM to 4GB.
Is this the best kind of RAM that I should get? If not, what would you suggest?
Thanks!

You might also see if someone who has recently upgraded to Sandy Bridge might sell or give you an old LGA 775 motherboard that has 4 DIMM slots instead of two.

Lower latency modules are better than higher latency modules, all other factors being equal.
The OP's selection included six kits from Kingston and four kits from G.Skill.

but I can tell you that even with a dual-core, I saw a huge performance jump in anything gaming related when going from 2GB to 4GB.
