New LG P330 laptop

Wed Jun 15, 2011 9:00 pm

This upcoming 13" notebook looks amazing, IPS screen, hopefully there will be an antiglare option as well.

I was wondering how they plan to fit i7 + 555M into a 13", it looks like they're ditching the optical drive.

1600x900 on a 13" screen? 'Scuse me while I whip out my Sherlock Holmes magnifying glass. Or maybe I'm tool old for something that sexy anyway.

I don't see where you're reading that. But the narrow bezel allows them to put a 14" class screen into a 13" chassis. I just can't tell if it's 16:9 or 16:10. Looks like 16:9 :(

It's so beautiful...

I might still wait for Ivy Bridge/Trinity and Kepler/Southern Islands offerings though as I will begin school in fall 2012.

OT: What's up with the orange wristband and yellow sunglasses?

I'm reading it in the post right above mine where the OP says (twice) that it's a 13" screen, and in the article where it says it's a 13.3" screen. I don't see anything about a 14" screen. Please elaborate.

I mean the resolution is so far unknown. It might just be a very compact 13", but it would be more exciting if they can fit a larger than normal screen into a normal sized 13" chassis because of the thin bezel.
