I'm surprised Swype hasn't been mentioned yet. Easily my favorite app.

Swype came pre-installed on my phone and I gotta say, it's pretty awesome.

Also stuff I've discovered in the last week:

Handcent (replacement for the standard Messaging app)
Out of Milk (which it is absolutely worth paying the $5 for lifetime access to their website, so my wife and I can maintain grocery lists, for example)
Evernote (which I really liked on iOS and the Android version is just as good)
Titanium Backup (to back up apps, settings, contacts, etc.; requires root access)
Dropbox
App2SD (because I only have 1GB of storage on my phone and this can alert me when an app supports the SD card)
Barcode Scanner
edit: Oh, and Launcher Pro. I like it better than the default app because the dock can have 5 icons on my phone

And then for games:
Cut the Rope
Angry Birds
Grave Defense HD (which was the "free app of the day" earlier this week)
Bubble Blast 2
Abduction
Alchemy

I do not understand what I do. For what I want to do I do not do, but what I hate I do.

I finally cracked and bought Blast On's Player Pro last night. It's the best music player I've tried in the market and the stock Music app on my Atrix 4G is AWFUL and was some how made even worse (much worse actually) with the 2.3 update.

I have PlayerPro too. Definitely my favorite of all the music apps I have tried.

What is it with these HORRIBLE stock music players? On my MT4G the shuffle repeats songs a lot, it's frustratingly quiet, and god forbid I try to use Slacker. It makes the whole app freak out.

BTW, paying for Slacker is definitely worth it. You get quite a bit more search options than Pandora, and you get a pretty large variety of genre stations. The Metal channel is my favorite. It plays classic, hair, power, death, black, thrash, and of course plain old metal. :D

Oh and I just recently got Netflix working without having it rooted (my phone still isn't officially supported). Somebody made a custom app that enables streaming on just about any device. It's in a thread on xda-developers.com here.

So much fun! I love tower defense games, but GRave Defense HD takes it to another level of addiction!

Other apps I have on my droid, that hasn't been mentioned in this thread yet:

---apps---
Tapatalk (works with phpBB forums, maybe TR will have it enabled one day!)
Android IRC
Waze (Sometimes a little better GPS navigation over the default google maps)
QuipIM (only if your company uses the lotus sametime messaging suite)
WinAMP (still my fav mp3 player)
Grooveshark (streaming audio - like Pandora, only better)
Soundhound & Shazam (find out what music is playing)
KeePassDroid

---games---
Plants vs Zombies
Words with Friends (free only, i don't think they made one for purchase yet to get rid of the ad's)
Mahjong Nagomi (not the solitaire game, but the real deal - 4 players)

WeatherBug

Nice being able to see if that thunderstorm is going to blow me over, or pass to the north while out and about. Also nice when I have to unplug everything when the lightning starts at the house.
