Thanks

Do you just need to try a different media brand?

I may have to check that out and yeah I think i may have went overboard with the PSU.

tsoulier wrote:The PSU like most of you said too much , the fan hardly comes on , the only complaint is the threads that hold the PSU stripped out.
I had the same problem with an OCZ unit also.

Plenty of Power quality product , I did say I had mounting issues but that was my fault , used the wrong screws.
I ran the PSU calculator for my system , told me 550 w was needed for a 90% load.
The fan barely comes on with this thing , there are reviews show they put upwards
of 990w through it.
In short get it , you will love it.

You don't need the 850, and that 750 unit is the same price as the Seasonic X-650 with the coupon. I know what I'd get.

and it has free shipping. This is a really nice deal, but...
Comparing the Seasonic X750 to the Corsair AX750 makes me lean more to the Corsair
7yr VS. 5yr warranty
ATX12V v2.31 / EPS12V v2.92 VS. ATX12V V2.3/EPS 12V V2.91
LoneWolf15 wrote:Have you ever owned a power supply for seven years?
With respect, I think any power supply that lasts five (if you own it that long) will last seven. Most warranty failures I've seen with electronic equipment made by a reputable vendor (like either of these) happen within the first several months due to a defect that is revealed when the unit is placed under load.
Note that the Corsair is a Seasonic X-Series built for Corsair.
