New Matrox Parhelia HR256

Tue Sep 23, 2003 2:07 pm

Snagged this from the Matrox newsletter.

The Parhelia HR256 graphics card has been specifically designed to be the ideal companion for high-resolution panel technology, ensuring high-quality, high-performance graphics. Its quad single-link DVI interface, enabling a quad DVI or dual LFH-60 direct connection, with no adaptors, ensures flawless image quality and provides support for very high resolutions and optimal screen refresh rates. This distinctive graphics card features 256 MB of memory and a PCI interface with support for 33 MHz and 66 MHz buses. Genlock and frame lock capabilities are available as options.

Specs here.

9 MP displays provide additional display resolution over standard displays. This exceptionally high resolution (3840 x 2400) can only be achieved today by combining multiple DVI channels and synchronizing them for smooth and flawless display output.

Be on the lookout for reviews. Looks like a nice card.

I can't say that I would disagree to having the HR256/IBM Panel combo. :D
