ASUS P8Z68-V Pro; bad luck, or look for other options?

Sun Oct 02, 2011 12:51 pm

As folks that have followed this thread can see, finally determined my board is a bit flaky, and have been ordered the choice of either having ti replaced, or ordering a new one and being refunded for the old. So my question is what option would be better to go with? Are the boards that I have just flaky in general, or have I just gotten a bad apple in the bushel?

The P8Z68-V Pro is one of the best LGA1155 motherboards available. I doubt that you'll get better results with a different model.

^ What he said

I've been looking at Z68 mobos lately and reading a lot of user reviews, and this board is one of the better ones from what I've seen. No brand is completely without problems, even ASUS.

I'm going to say bad luck, too. The V Pro would be on my list of mainboards to get.

I agree with that too. I'd even go as far as to say there is no one perfect Z68 board. Even the best have something I can be annoyed by.
