NFL 2011/2012 - Week 8

Fri Oct 28, 2011 6:00 pm

Last week was an anomaly. Raiders blanked. And the Colts got blasted with a college football score. Like Florida playing FIU or something.

What's a FF player to do?

Ah well, on to this week's games.

Sunday, Oct. 30
Indianapolis @ Tennessee - Ooooohhhhh how the mighty fall!!
Miami @ NYG - I think Miami is actually playing worse than Indy
Minnesota @ Carolina- McNabb's time in the NFL is close to done.
New Orleans @ St. Louis - Maybe they should make a league just for the 0-whatever right now
Arizona @ Baltimore - kolb is not looking like a starter right now.
Jacksonville @ Houston - upset pick of the week
Washington @ Buffalo - Fitpatrick with a long term contract . . . . .HAH!!!!!
Detroit @ Denver
Cleveland @ San Fran
Cinci @ Seattle
New England @ Pittsburgh
Dallas @ Philly - two teams trying to show that they belong.

Monday, Oct. 31
San Diego @ Kansas city - Probably more like a horror show.

Byes: Atlanta, Chicago, Green Bay, NYJ, Oakland, Tampa Bay

Byes are a killer. So much switching around. . . . . . so get those rosters ready!!
. . . this is the digital projection of your mental self. . . .

It's so out of the ordinary to see people lately picking my hometown as the favorite... Hockey, basketball, baseball, yes... But football? The loser lions?! WOW! lol what a crazy year!

What the heck is going on with the Saints and the Lambs? Is this the Saints team that scored 62 points last week? Are these the winless Rams with the worst offense in the league? :o

Glad the Texans one (sentimental favorites for me). There was one really phenomenal play from Jacksonville though on an interception. If they can display that talent *consistently* they'll do well next year.

Can't believe the Saints lost to the Ravens :o

Hoping Buffalo wins because I have a soft spot for a team with almost all undrafted players ;)

ahaha eat it Patriots. Can't remember the last time we bested Tom Brady. I hope Belichick goes back under his troll bridge and has a good long cry.

So Buffalo Bills in first place! That's refreshing. :D

Wide right.
What we have today is way too much pluribus and not enough unum.

Go bills :) Although, the next four games are supposed to be rough. I have to admit though, Jets then Cowboys may be rough.
Hard to believe that one of their two loses was the Bengals...WTH?

I always find it interesting to start looking at the playoff "standings" about halfway through the season. http://espn.go.com/nfl/standings/_/type/playoffs It's meaningless until the end of Week 17 of course, but interesting nonetheless.

So right now we have the two previous Super Bowl contenders at #1 in each conference. Seems boring until you look at the #2 seeds. I think very few people can honestly say they saw that coming.

I am glad to see the whole week report together. I cannot understand what exactly happening here. Unexpected things are happening. It was a boring week for me, so I missed most of it. I don’t know how others felt it. Have you checked what is going on with Saints and the Lambs? It was a total confusing week. Keep updating us to see the status together. I am curiously waiting to read the next week report.
