Indianapolis LinuxFest 2012

Thu Nov 10, 2011 9:56 pm

I'm posting this a bit early, but I've just heard word about Indianapolis Linuxfest 2012 and I wanted to spread the news to any Gerbils who might be interested. I'm pretty sure this is the second year for Linuxfest in Indianapolis, so now it's an annual event! I'm not one of the organizers, but I did speak at last year's event and there was a really great group of people there.

Here's a link to the Linuxfest website:
http://www.indianalinux.org/cms/

The dates are April 13 - 15, 2012. The biggest day is usually Saturday (April 14) and certification exams are administered on the 15th.
Admission is free, but there is a supporters package that gives you a T-shirt and some nice schwag. Any Gerbils interested in attending?

Every year, the metropolitan Detroit area has the Penguicon ( http://www.penguicon.org/ ), which basically is a Linux-based con...

Never impressed year after year.
