I work in a school district and school just started. Busy as hell. Plus, I just don't visit here all that often. Most of the people I used to enjoy interacting with on here have either moved on or have been unjustly banned. But hey such is life.

Assuming I can make outgoing FTP work in my office tomorrow, I'll have the usual update posted. No promises, though.

Last-minute scratches (i.e. Peyton Hillis for a 1:00PM game) really piss me off,

Is it too much to ask that managers actually log in every once in a while and not have 3 starters on bye?

Pain?

Pain is 4 starters on bye and another 3 out with injuries. The waiver wire is far too anemic to throw away decent potential.

Kevin Smith For The Win! :D
Hope that display he put on yesterday isn't a one-time thing. I picked him up in every league I could.

Are you kidding me? If the scores hold up through stat corrections, Motor City Mashers will beat out Taste Dwayne Bowe because Cam Newton passed for an extra yard. Never seen a score come that close... 104.06 to 104.00. And it had to come in the league championship semi-final.

Also... Dpscorp's team decided to implode at just the wrong time. I was worried that he was on a roll and would destroy me. He didn't even get half of his projected points.

Good luck to whoever plays me in the championship!!!

I'd just like to thank several Keeper league managers for leaving some interesting pickups for potential keepers next season.

Some thoughts on the Keeper league this year:

1. It's crazy to have any fantasy football league have the finals in week 17 - it should always be week 16.
2. I like the three week playoff setting, but it should be weeks 14,15,16 not 15,16,17.
3. If we do the three week one again next year - I think for week 14 the top two teams deserve a BYE week.

That is all. And you are welcome for some of those pickups. Demarco Murray anyone? 8)

That occurred to me as well, but it was too late to do anything about it. I'll make sure it doesn't happen next year.
