Yeah, probably gonna get Portal 2. Already got ME 1 and 2, but at those prices, I might as well get them on Steam too. :-)

I bought ME2 used then resold it after I finished it. It cost me about $3 at the time of release to do a playthrough. $5 for unlimited playthroughs sounds like a good price to me.

Any suggestions? Already have pretty much all Valve's games, ME 1 & 2. Thinking about F1 2010, maybe.

Fallout: New Vegas for $5 is a complete steal. I paid $30 for it and thought it was a terrific value.

Been waiting for this sale to get Portal 2 (especially since I've got a huge stack of other games I've yet to play, so no reason to get P2 before hand). FO:NV might be worth while as well, even if it's your standard buggy Bethesda release :P

Picked up Bastion and Portal 2.

Since the last Steam hack, I've switched to using a prepaid credit card for purchases, so that's another good way for me to limit my purchases.

Got the last of the Fallout: New Vegas DLC. I've managed so far to get that game and every piece of DLC during a sale. Zenimax Media/Bethesda appears to be one of the most flexible companies about these Steam sales in terms of participation and pricing.

Hey guys, Just wondering if you have any advice on which fallout new vegas DLC's might be worth getting. Probably don't need all of them, but the good ones would be cool.

Finally picked up the 2 Mass Effects, as well as a city builder game I've had my eye on for a while called Children of the Nile. I wanted to also get Civilzation 4 cheaply as a gift, but the price is still too high for me this sale; hopefully Christmas they'll bring it down back under ten bucks for the whole civ4 collection :)

Got Portal 2 (finally) - will I play through it in the next 3 months?!? (Too many games sitting in my Steam library already....darn sales.)

And Inside a Star-Filled Sky - can't pass up those cheap Indie titles, even if I play for only a few hours it's worth it, but this one looks pretty unique in concept.

New sale stuff is up now.

VVVVV - already have it otherwise I'd buy it.

The Total War megapack looks like a decent deal too if you don't have some of them already.

I have already spent 15$ on ME2, Orcs Must Die, and Dungeons of Dreadmore, and Fallout NV + DLC looks mighty tempting, considering that next year they are releasing the same thing for $40. I can't help but feel like I am going to spend $100 total over the next few days, and then even more for the December sale.

I loved Old World Blues and Honest Hearts, and couldn't stand Dead Money. But then, Metacritic exactly disagrees with me.

That's my impression as well. Lonesome Road was OK.

I'm not sure if I should spring the 50 bucks and get Dirt 3 and F1 2011. Both good games for sure and I have o decent wheel for them too... just not sure if I should be burning that kind of money right now what with my student budget.

Just wait until the Christmas sale. Wouldn't be surprised to see either games at $10. Worst case scenario, they'll be priced the same as now.

just bought lonesome road. Haven't got old world blues yet. Dead Money was just not fun to play, I wouldn't get it. Honest Hearts frigging rocked though.

edit: The thanksgiving sales seems weak compared to the Christmas sale

The Witcher 2 for $24. The Witcher for $2½. These are entertaining fantasy RPGs.

Civilization V for $10¼. DLC maps are also 66% off.

Civ V is a damn good deal if I didn't already have it. Oh well.
So far I've got BulletStorm and Deus Ex. Nearly beating bulletstorm (about 8 hours). Just finished DL'ing Dues Ex...not looking like I'll get anything today though :( Maybe tomorrow will have some stuff on my wishlist on sale.

Or just get Civ V GOTY edition for $16, i think it comes out cheaper that way, it includes all the DLC except for two (which you can purchase individually for ~$1.xx each).

I just purchased Civ V GOTY edition, i've been waiting for it to come on sale on Steam. I am hoping that Skyrim goes on sale for $30-$40 dollars tomorrow. :D

It's very unlikely that we will see a Skyrim sale. Brand new games pretty much never go on sale during Steam sales. If a game came out two weeks ago, then you're not going to see it for 50% off this week. It might be 50% off at the 4th of July sale though.
