I am debating between these 2 power supplies. I have two things to consider: size and price. I have a Lian Li PC-v351 case (Like a Lanboy case) so a one that has more depth will not really work. These Corsair measures 5.5"(D) and the Silverstone measure 5.9"(D). I have only about $70 to spend. This psu will be supplying power to i5-2400 and a HD6950. What are your thoughts?

(not Modular). But, I don't think you will have any problem with the length.

Edit: Superflower is the OEM, Excellent quality, Voltage control and ripple suppression.

Without a doubt the best on the market at this price and plenty of wattage for your rig.

Edit, sorry, I keep getting these confused, Superflower is really making a push into the high end PSU.

A great number of the gold and Plat. rated are Superflower OEM.

Just recently picked up as the house brand for Newegg (Rosewill) on these bargin priced gold units.

Very solid and the price is just insanely good compared to anything that has been on the market in this quality to date.

Rosewill is Newegg's house brand. AFAIK they don't manufacture any of their own stuff; they just slap a Rosewill nameplate on stuff made by others. In my experience, quality (and value) of Rosewill branded products varies from mediocre to excellent, depending on who they're OEMing from.

I've never used a Rosewill PSU, but at that price I would be all over it for a smaller system given the JohnnyGuru review and the SuperFlower OEM (the gold-rated SuperFlower-based PSUs all seem very good).

The only thing it lacks is modular cables, and as the linked review states, they could've been added. How expensive can it be to put the little board in there? I guess over the course of a hojillion units the extra bit of assembly time and extra PCB/circuitry would add up, but to how much per unit?

They both have 5 year warranties, single 12V rails, 80Plus bronze cert, modular....I'd go for the cheaper one.

Also, if you are not in a hurry, wait a bit for a Newegg special with rebate for a really nice deal......my brother and I each picked up a Thermaltake 750W Modular with 5 year warranty for like $72 after rebate.
