Just starting Battlefield BC2

Wed Jan 18, 2012 10:26 am

So I just installed the game and started the single player campaign last night. The jungle is pretty beautiful, nice smoke, nice explosions, some OK blowing snow, and textures on uniforms seem to be the graphical highlights.

I like the dialog. Maybe too liberal usage of the f-bomb.

The gameplay is pretty decent, although I'm still just getting used to it.

What's the multiplayer like? Anyone fellow gerbils currently playing? Do I have to get on a server with a bunch of people I don't know or something? I literally know nothing about the multiplayer aspect of the game - what modes there are, what the server situation is, if there are too many dirty players for it to be any fun...

Multiplayer is the star of the show. It's awesome. There are some cheaters, of course, but, for the most part, it is very enjoyable.

Multi was pretty decent.
Same modes as BF3
Maps aren't as large.
No jets.
I used to play here quite a bit.
