Chrome & NewEgg = Crashing

Thu Mar 01, 2012 10:57 am

Anybody else having issues when browsing NewEgg with Chrome? I've tried v.17 and am now trying v.18-beta and everytime I try to click on an item to see the description the tab just freezes and I have to close the tab. I can browse NewEgg fine, but it's only when I click on an item that it does this. Just curious if anybody else is seeing this issue. Thanks!

running v17.0.963.56 (latest) and I can click on items, and their associated tabs (Overview / Details / Feedback). The image gallery loads fine too. It's something on your end I assume?

Thanks for testing gleek, I think you may be right. It may be something to do with our Internet filter at work causing some issues. I've rebooted the device and it seems to be acting better now. I guess we'll see what happens. Thanks agin!

I'm running on an old crappy machine (celeron/2GB RAM) and Chrome (most recent stable) + Newegg works fine even on this thing.

I hate using old, slow computers. So frustrating when it doesn't cost much to run something that is more than speedy enough for everyday browsing and office duties.
