While browsing the news, I found some information about Intel's Thunderbolt technology
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Thunderbol ... terface%29Seems to be high bandwidth optical interconnection of some sorts, that's capable to drive PCIe/display over 10 meters or so.
That would be something awesome if this gets released soon. Imagine having a net-book, and channelling graphical and audio rendering to a basement where super-noisy server with 3x SLI crunches the rendering. That would be amazing.
