Been listening to the Headspace EP they did some years back. They are finally coming out with a full album this year. If classic prog is your thing, you probably will love this. Shamelessly stated influences: Yes, Rush, Genesis, Dream Theater among others. And you can actually hear that in the music, mostly Yes (probably influenced by the keyboard palyer, which is Adam Wakeman... Rick's son!). My favorite from that EP is the song Sane Life. Aaaah, prog bliss!

So, cuz of your post, I listened to their "Salmagundi" release, and I actually liked it! Colour me crazy!

*thumbs up*! You know what? I didn't even know there was a song from their new album available yet!! Gonna check it out tonight :D

Ehm... wait!!!!! That's not the band I was talking about!!! Go here instead!!! :o

Awesome - Paul's Boutique was an amazing record when it came out - quite possibly my favorite BBoys still.
I've listened to it like 9000 times.

Some good mellow Toad the Wet Sprocket playing right now...

Heard they're gearing up to make a new album soon. Hopefully it'll be as good as usual :)

1996! heck yeah... i've always been confused over the tracklisting for this release.

One version has the Intense song as Breathless, like you mention. Reference: http://www.discogs.com/LTJ-Bukem-Mixmag ... lease/9356

Another version has the Intense song listed as Streams Of Thought. Reference: http://www.discogs.com/Various-Mixmag-L ... ase/654455

Any ideas squeeb?

Noctua NF-P12 with the ULNA adapter :o :o :o HOLY CRAP NO I WAS NOT. Just opened the case to find the fan at a stand still. Pushed it with my finger and it started spinning. Turned around and opened up AMD overdrive and it showed 107 C. :o Ugh, must have released some adrenaline because I suddenly feel tired.

The entire Hyper 212 was very hot to the touch. The ULNA adapter just lost my trust. Going to swap in the LNA adapter.

Unfortunately, many Gigabyte mainboards use a special control circuit that can lead to start-up problems in conjunction with the Ultra-Low-Noise Adaptor (ULNA). This control circuit remains active even when automatic fan control is disabled in the BIOS. In these cases, please use the fan without the ULNA or connect it directly to the power supply (or an external fan controller) in order to ensure reliable operation with the ULNA.

A while back, I had something similar happen to my Phenom 9550 system when the fan seized up. CPU temp was 100C when I noticed the problem. I now have a monitoring script running on my systems which shuts the system down if the CPU temperature ever exceeds 70C...

Comfortably Numb by Floyd. Great freaking song. Sad.

Was preceded by Barrett's Privateers by Stan Rodgers. Odd combo

Supertramp: Fool's Overture.

I've got desert island albums and desert island songs. Fool's Overture is definitely one of the five desert island songs.

Been on a Sandy Denny kick this AM. Started with the Fairport Convention stuff (Maddy Groves, Tam Lin, Old Man Michael) and am now in LZ's Battle of Evermore. I've got the 4-LP box set of her collected works and I think it's about to get an exercise.

I am listening to the entire album by L-Vis 1990 called "Neon Dreams". (released in 2011)

Something I know Capt'Ned won't know... or for that matter, ever listen to.

It's incredible music! It's like techno-y, dubstep-y, house-y, awesome sauce-y. I have no other way to describe this love juice they call music.

Closest I'll come to that genre is Kraftwerk.

Nothing wrong with that. Except for the fact that Kraftwerk INVENTED the entire "Electro" genre.. back in 1971. Time to move on cap'n!

I know this has been posted time and time again, but be sure to check out Ishkur's Guide to all dance genres (with examples to boot) at:

Schoolhouse Rock was part of my childhood and this version is the only non-original that, to me, exceeds the original.
