Tomato 1.27 randomly starts PPTP client with wrong arguments

Tue Apr 17, 2012 5:03 pm

I didn't do anything! It just randomly started doing this a few months back. I'm getting quite tired of this. Here's what the log says. It's eating up my router's poor little CPU, and causing a lot of lag on my network whenever traffic passes through it. To stop it I have to navigate to the admin page, which is laggy because the CPU is busy trying to start pptp-client and failing, and go to Administration->VPN Tunneling->PPTP Client and click "Stop Now". I never clicked "Start Now".

I can't figure out what is starting this. I turned off the options under PPTP Client Configuration, and even clicked the Save changes button. Here's what ps says. I know this has something to do with crond, but I can't find anything related to it under /etc (I have SSH access as you can see).

Give 1.28 a whirl?
What we have today is way too much pluribus and not enough unum.
