Well, I have a meeting after lunch with her to float some ideas that may resolve some of it in a fairly workable fashion. We'll hope it goes well.

There's only 7 of us, how much behind the scenes can there be?

Sleep Number beds.

Hellaciously over-priced, yet it's the first time I've woken up without back pain since the waterbed went bye-bye (wife was unable to sleep on the bubble).

3-4 oz of whiskey or rum or tequila on the rocks every night was apparently really helping me sleep easier :X I know nightcaps in theory don't really do much for your sleep but jeez, I haven't gotten more than 5-6 hours, and it comes hard. This is 10 days in.

I hadn't been sleeping more than 4-5 hours a night for about 3 weeks. As a skinny guy (140 pounds) take this with a grain of salt, but I didn't start sleeping well until I started getting more exercise. Also, join fight club.

I'm lifting 3x week (dumbbells and kettlebells) and walking at least 2.25 miles/day 6 days a week (sometimes it's a hike in Palo Duro Canyon, sometimes it's just laps around a city park--I'm keeping it at 15.5 minutes/mile so I'm not running but I'm not lagging either on those). It's helped jump start my weight loss again though, which is nice. See if I can get this next 50 off.

I've also cut soda out after work--no caffine after 5pm :(

Aside from my pre-workout, Im don't have caffeine or soda. I lift heavy (deads, squats, bench with some accessory work mixed in) and those nights I sleep the best. Nothing feels better than sore hands and muscles with a full belly and a soft bed. I'm sleepy all of a sudden

Those lifts work more of the body than any other lifts. It's no surprise they tire people out the most.

An interesting pair of charts here. Human population by latitude and by longitude. I'll be puzzling over these for a while.

It isn't really all that puzzling. A much larger percentage of the Southern Hemisphere is covered by ocean, and the largest continent located entirely in the Southern Hemisphere (Antarctica) has no permanent population.

Which is why I find the longitude one interesting.

India and China are no surprise. I guess the spike at about 30E is moderately surprising...

"Thanks for responding in earnest, I am indeed exhilirated with the
condition. I am also interested and will like to make an immediate
purchase, so kindly remove the ad. on Craigslist, I will not mind
adding an extra $25 for you to close the advert on craigslist so that
I can guarantee I am the potential buyer, I would have loved to come
take a look but I am a very busy man I am very sure you understand. I
will also want you to know that I will be paying via Certified Check,
and it will be sent to you via courier service due to the distance.
You don't need to bother about the shipment, as that has been taken
care of...... So I will need you to provide me with the following
information to facilitate the mailing of the check.

1. Full Name on the check
2. Address where payment will be sent to not p.o.box (because my
courier service does not deliver to p.o box)
3. City
4. State
5. Zip Code
6. Phone Number

Once again, I want you to be rest
assured that you will not be responsible for shipping as I will have
my mover come over as soon as you have cashed the check.

These are annoying. Next time I get one I'm tempted to set up a burner account in Yahoo or Hotmail and then send back some random name out of the local obituaries attached to the address and phone number of a police station. Ought to produce some interesting results when the scammer attempts to use the information in their next identify theft scheme.

Don't post on the internet and spread whatever you have contracted to everyone else please. At the very least, I hope you washed your hands thoroughly prior to posting. Thank you for your consideration. :o
