Well in preparation for the 7750 low profile card i just got back from microcenter
i had a 50$ gift card so i used it on a I3 2125 3.3ghz dual core with HT that cost 119$ - the $50 gift card so i got it for 69bucks.....wow what a difference my temps alone with the same cooler and $2 coolermaster thermal paste dropped the g530 celery chip that runs at 2.4ghz from 32 to 34c idle to 24-30c with the 2125 i3 chip.
Be back later with load temp tests super pumped up this cpu is fast! and the g530 was no slouch. now i have 900 more mhz more cache and hyperthreading whoo hoo.
Remember this is just my HTPC but it has a set of balls now:) just hope the 220 watt psu holds up. I think it will since i added a extra cooling fan to it from a hacked up usb cable and using a apple charging port to power my extra PSU fan and usb powered 80mm thermaltake side panel fan with speed ctrl knob to keep chipset cool since the case is so tight a 80mm fan would not even fit internally in the slim case. But not using any PSU power for my fans will help a lil bit:)
