Ok, Thanks! I can't wait to start riding this thing. Considering I was going to buy a Schwinn or something from Target for $300ish I'm pretty happy.

First guess: earliest with correct color option and matches a couple of the components (derailer, front fork, handlebar)...

edit: darn... earlier post beat me to it.

2001 Deore kit was pretty decent stuff, looks like the bike is in good condition, I reckon you did pretty well for $200.

If you start to push it hard, or into the mucky offroad, I would look to change the chainset (front cogs and pedal arms) for something more durable. For riding around on roads and hardpack trails it'll be more than adequate though.
Congratulations, you've noticed that this year's signature is based on outdated internet memes; CLICK HERE NOW to experience this unforgettable phenomenon. This sentence is just filler and as irrelevant as my signature.

The pics really don't do the bike justice, it looks new other than needing a good cleaning. The only thing I'd like to change are the tires. The guy I bought it from is a tenant of mine and said he put new tires on it before I bought it from him. While they don't look new they seem to have plenty of tread and it will be a street ridden bike. There aren't to many rugged trails in S Florida that I'm aware of. Thanks to everyone who identified it for me!
