AOL about to sue Microsoft over windows8 ?

Did AOL get it right over 15 years ago ?
Did MS hire ex AOL UI designers ?

The similarity is just too striking to be a coincidence!

Bad UIs never die, they just get recycled by a new generation of UI designers who don't remember that it didn't work out particularly well the last time around.

(Essentially the tech version of "Those who forget history are doomed to repeat it"...)
Nostalgia isn't what it used to be.
