Tigers/Cardinals, anyone?

I'm good with that. The Yanquis need to go down!!!! I don't care if it's to the Tigers, Cardinals, or even Giants. I'd prefer them losing in the ALCS, though.

I honestly don't want to root for anyone in the playoffs now. With the O's, A's, and Nat's going down, this is a crapshoot.

edit: I guess if I HAD to pick someone, it'd be the Giants? Blarg.

As a longtime NL fan, I'm really really hoping the Giants make it. I just can't see rooting for the Cardinals

I can't hep but root for the Cardinals. I love it when teams that lose their superstars to free agency and then do even better (see: 2001 Mariners). With the departure of Pujols, the Cards winning it all (to me) is great.

Holy **** the Yankees looked awful. OTOH I'm one game away from my wish.

The Tigers game tonight was not broadcast on any local Detroit channel. What does it say about television and MLB that a playoff game isn't even on network TV?

MLB's been that way for years, unfortunately.
