Re: case, you want an ATX or bigger case, with a good build quality, convenience features, a good airflow/noise compromise (depending on your preference) and looks that you like. In the $50-100 range, the Bitfenix Shinobi, Corsair 200R-300R-400R, the Antec 302, the NZXT Source (which unfortunately went up in price recently) all seem reasonable to me. The In-win Dragon Rider and BUC are also good, as are, for a little more, stuff like the more expensive Corsairs or the Fractal Design Define R4.
