Embedded video download software

Tue Nov 27, 2012 9:24 am

Hello,

Quick question, is there a free download software for embedded videos? I wanted to download a few news videos (flash format) and play them back later at my discretion, off line, but i never tried this before so i have no idea. I did found a few software on google but they don't seem trustworthy. Also another thing how do i play back the video? I mean with what program...

Thanks in advance!

PS: i tryed to search for simillar posts but didn't find any. If there are i just need the link.

The best I have found is a firefox add on. Try searching for video download in the plug in site.

Firefox plug-ins are the way to go. I use Video Download Helper. You'll find it in the add-on section in their top 10 most popular. Usually next to AdBlock.

I use it to pull movie trailers for my HTPC. My system shows me two trailers from my collection before playing a movie from my NAS. It's like being in the theaters, except I'm in no danger of seeing a trailer for a chick flick.
