I have Sapphire Radeon HD 7970 and Catalyst 12.10.
I noticed flickering from light sources in the game "Rage" when Vsync is enabled. It seems to occur when an object such as a pipe, column, etc obscures a light source. In some areas flickering occurs when light source is completely behind a wall. It even flickers when the menu is invoked.
Vsync enabled in the application and disabled in Catalyst causes severe flickering.
Vsync disabled in the application and enabled in Catalyst causes mild flickering.
Vsync enabled in the application and enabled in Catalyst causes severe flickering.
Vsync disabled in the application and disabled in Catalyst causes NO flickering.
I tried the latest Catalyst Beta driver but it did not help the issue.
I already reported the issue to AMD.
Anyone else experienced a similar problem?
