Ordered a 1/3 keg(1/6 barrel) of their normal Black Butte Porter for $62 - when at the store to pick it up they had accidentally ordered a 1/2 keg of the yearly reserve edition(11% abv) so that's what I got instead. $270 half keg for about $60.. I think the store lost about $140 on the transaction.
Last time I ordered a keg through this same store they messed up my order and sold me a sam adams keg at cost to make up for it; I paid $80 for a full keg of sam adams(usually around $150). While the store I go through never gets my order right I am still their customer as it always works out in the end.

However, I was dissapointed by Johnnie Walker. I would still like to find a Scotch, so does anyone have a suggestion?
I would also be open to other whiskey suggestions.

You might look into Highland Park, which is an excellent non-smoky dram, more of a "summertime" Scotch.

Is that the stuff with Ralph Steadman's artwork (artist for all of the Hunter S. Thompson books)?
