Hey,

need your expert advice, I have been trying to install Windows 7 updates for the past couple of weeks and it is continuing to fail.

The Updates are KB2769369 and KB2756921 for Windows 7 64bit. I am receiving error 800B0100

I have tried all I know, install them separately, downloaded them manually and tried to install, Windows readiness tool. Nothing I can find is working.

Any thoughts????

Did you try the Windows Update Troubleshooter?

Thanks JustAnEngineer, i tried everything from the links that you posted and it all still fails for both updates.

I am at a total loss as what to do, any other suggestions from anybody

Check your HDD/SSD for system file errors, sometimes stuff like this may prevent certain updates from installing... You know - right-click on your drive, click on "properties", then on "tools" tab, then on "check now", on the next screen make sure that both checkboxes are selected, then click on "start" button, then on "schedule disk check" button and reboot.
