It was a $28.90 tab with 9% tax. It's easier if you calculate 10% and then remove 1% just by moving the decimal. Add that to $29 and take off a dime. Voila. For quick mental math, working to the nearest zero is almost always your friend.

I'd like to lift 300+ lbs off the ground, but that's like 3.4x my body weight, so I don't think it's realistic for me. Hehe. I can snatch 105lbs tho, which I think is pretty good for someone my size! The squat is the easy part; it's the actual snatch that's hard for me. Hard to not fall over!
