Hey guys, my cousin has enlisted my services to come up with a build for him as his sister is moving out of home and taking the PC with them:
I have come up with:
Case: CoolerMaster Elite 341 with 420W
Mobo: ASRock FM2A55M-DGS
CPU: AMD A10 5800K 4-Core Processor
RAM: Corsair CMV16GX3M2A1333C9 16GB Kit (2x8GB) DDR3
SSD: Samsung 840 Series 120GB SSD Retail Box
HDD: Seagate Barracuda 1TB ST1000DM003
DVD: Pioneer DVR-220LBKS Black 24x DVDRW OEM
Monitor: BenQ GL2450HM 24in Widescreen LED Monitor
Keyboard/Mouse: Microsoft Wired Desktop Keyboard 600
OS: Microsoft Windows 8 64bit OEM
+ Microsoft Office 2013 home/student
I used the AMD A10 processor because it has a decent integrated graphics.
OR:
Case: CoolerMaster Elite 341 with 420W
Mobo: ASRock B75M-DGS-R2 Motherboard
CPU: Intel Core i3 3220
RAM: Corsair CMV16GX3M2A1333C9 16GB Kit (2x8GB) DDR3
SSD: Samsung 840 Series 120GB SSD Retail Box
HDD: Seagate Barracuda 1TB ST1000DM003
DVD: Pioneer DVR-220LBKS Black 24x DVDRW OEM
Monitor: BenQ GL2450HM 24in Widescreen LED Monitor
Keyboard/Mouse: Microsoft Wired Desktop Keyboard 600
OS: Microsoft Windows 8 64bit OEM
The difference is about $10 either way.
What are your opinions? The PC will pretty much be used for youtube, pr0n and some internet games like Runescape, maybe the casual Counterstrike Source etc.
