Japanese firm GS Yuasa manufactures the lihium-ion batteries.

AFAICT no indication yet whether this is another battery incident.

They forgot to turn on the No Smoking light.

There's a bit more information in the Reuters version of the story than AP initially put up.

Boeing's stock lost $5,400,000,000 worth of market capitalization when the news broke today. We could generate a movie script where the fire was staged as part of a nefarious plot to make a massive profit through insider trading.

BTW, when the battery enclosures were redesigned, the APU battery was also moved from the tail to near the wing root trailing edge.

This is looking more and more like an aft galley fire and unrelated to the lithium ion batteries.
