Baseball - Go Giants!

Football - Go Niners!

ALMS - Go Flying Lizards!

F1 - Go Vettel!

Basketball - Go Warriors!

I'd have to say baseball is my favorite for watching/playing. Football for watching on TV and playing fantasy sports. Any kind of sports car racing is great, but I prefer the ALMS or LMES even though there's little to no tv coverage. I live in the bay area so going to laguna seca for races is a great way to spend a weekend!

Americas Cup now its become a scary as hell race (I'm referring to 6 tonnes racing at 75km/h on one metre of carbon fibre) Superbike racing is not so scary to watch compared. 1 dead already and the race hasn't even started yet :o

Watching: hockey (NHL on the tv, I go to quite a few junior games) and CFL (Canadian Football league)

playing: golf, skiing, speedball (paintball - although I haven't done this for years)

Need to update this. Since the start of 2013, I've managed to start playing rec ice hockey (1 game/week during the summer and ramping it up to 2 or 3 games/week during the fall) and mountain biking. Initially started off doing around 35km on the road then moved into the mountains. Still a long way from calling myself a "true" mountain biker, but getting there. So I'd have to update my "playing" list like so:

playing: ice hockey, downhill skiing, mountain biking
No matter how bad the new homepage sucks or how bungled the new management is...

To all the original writers/contributors and volunteers, please know that I have nothing but the deepest love for you and the work you've done.

I like playing basketball but I'm certainly in worse shape at 38 than I was in my heyday. I was playing half court with some teenagers a few weeks ago but my stamina wasn't great.
I also watch the NBA playoffs from time to time.

The wife and I watch the World Series.

Occasional NFL football game on TV with friends, especially the Superbowl.
