My bottom line would be; if the integrated GPU in the i7-4770k is good enough for your needs, then you don't need an i7-4770k

JAEngineer, thanks for the response. I still have the stock intel HSF(unused) for the i7-950 so I will use that and use the CM Hyper 212 Plus on the i7-4770k. Save myself $30+ for now plus I already had installed a 2nd fan on the CM heatsink long ago so it should suffice.

I have 960 and am planning to upgrade at the end of 2014 when Haswell-E is believed to be out.
