So, when they ask for what GPU it's based on, what are they asking for? Code name, model number whatever it replaced, what? I've always submitted the codename for the architecture...some clarification would be nice. Dissonance isn't answering the question in the ongoing threat on the front page so I'm hoping Damage or someone will here.

I wouldn't answer anything in an ongoing threat, either!

(I think it's the islands or kepler or names like that)

We've clarified the question and will be accepting a range of answers, including the name of the GPU, the name of the GPU architecture, and the model number of the graphics card.

It appears that they were originally asking for the GKxxx definition.

Oops Diss, you beat me to a better description.

That is what I thought they were asking for but I saw that it wasn't perfectly clear so I ended up giving the GK number and the card name that the 760 replaces just to be sure I covered my bases.

so when is the winner going to be revealed ?
