What's the fan noise like? I'd rather pay another $20-$30 for a card that comes with a quiet fan. A fan should not even be heard when the card is running at idle loads, and yet, finding a card that meets this specification is often a challenge.
I don't.Be aware, the new AMD Hawaii GPU's are due out next month. I take the 7790 launch as a rough indicator of what's to come.
especially in regards to the GTX 760 I can't possibly share this opinion, Kepler's architecture while very good at what it does has shown to have none of the potential of AMD's GCN.Sorry if I come across as a fanboy, but for another $75 I would get a GTX 760.
I want to buy an AMD card in the future, but with the whole Frametimegate fiasco, I've been turned off of the red team.Hopefully Hawaii will blow my mind and bring me back . I loved the HD 4870, the pricing and performance were out of this world and ATI really owned nVidia with such exceptional value.

Nvidia's 760 and 770 lack frequency potential compared to similarly priced AMD 79xx parts and worse still for Nvidia GCN in in all of the new consoles which has put developer support fully behind it.
JohnC wrote:Yes, yes, DX11.2 is very important to support because it is mandatory and most game developers are already developing games using this particular API version! And yes, AMD's hardware in consoles is very important because it automatically means the game developers will only optimize all of their games for this architecture while totally neglecting Nvidia's! Well, at least that's how it works in your own reality
P.S:I honestly do not understand why are you bringing this redundant nonsense in "hot deals" thread... You have nothing else to do with your spare time other than turn everything into "AMD vs. the evil guys"?

As others have said, the AMD frame latency issues have been fixed since January(ish) for single GPU setups. If you're thinking of the crossfire frame pacing issues, that's been [roughly] fixed for a month. (yes, there's still some work to be done).
