No matter how bad the new homepage sucks or how bungled the new management is...

Age of Empires 1 and 2 were great games. I played those games so much so it's nice to see some updates. I remember playing it on good ol' dial up when it first came out.

Me too, over MSZone. *Shudder.* GFWL wasn't the first form of abuse I took from M$....

I remember it mostly not being able to do direct TCP/IP connections. With anyone. For any reason. Years of tweaking ports, obscure network settings...nada. Buy the Steam version, viola, everything works as it should.

I always just used the IPX settings. Worked much better over our BNC connection 10mbps network.
