Hello all. I have a big problem with my new Kyro2 graphics card when i try to install the drivers on WinXP it crashes my computer when it reboots. It also crashes with win98 and guives a message of Windows Memory Violation.

My specs are:

k6-2 300mhz CPU

motherboard with chipset MVP3

256mb ram

kyro2 64 without TV

Are you using the driver version on the CD included with the card, or the latest drivers available online?

Who manufactures the card? If you have older video drivers still installed check add/remove programs to make sure they are uninstalled before installing the newer ones.

OK its solved. The problem is the via drivers. I have to run my system without the via drivers installed.

I'm finding my Kyro2 to be very strange in XinXP. I have to reinstall the drivers every 3 weeks, or performance starts to get horrible. I don't think Hercules has got them quite right. But they work fine for me the rest of the time.
