If this had been done by NVIDIA; this section would have over 200 comments and the large, very large AMD fan base that TR has, would be shouting bloody murder!!! But it's just AMD lying / misleading their own customers, so it's "ok".

Also, it's hilarious that after AMD spent who knows how many millions to have Battlefield 4 under their wing, even more so because of Mantle's support and they still lose in it in benchmarks!.Edited 1 time(s). Last edit by Silus on Nov 15 at 06:17 AM.

Hey Silus...is that FXAA or tears blurring your vision now?

280X has phenomenal performance at 1080p. I never expected to run it at Ultra settings with so much ease, even in 64 multiplayer maps. Best purchase ever!

I wonder if the difference comes from the physics engine using OpenCL. AMD chips tend to fare better at OpenCL then their Nvidia counterparts. It could just be another case of "Gaming Evolved" at work. Nvidia was done the same thing with "The Way it is Meant to be Played" program for the past decade.

I'll probably pair up Kaveri with a 270x or something once I have it all built. With Mantle that should be a decent team.

Wish they would have tested with the cards Overclocked @stock voltages at least. The pretty much all the nvidia cards get a substantial increase in core clock speeds. Same goes for the AMD card minus the 290 cards.....at least until they get better cooling.

SLI and Crossfire figures would have been nice since a lot of people are using it...maybe in a future article.

Also as was stated in the article conditions are unpredictable and different every time you go in multiplayer. I wish they could make a benchmark that adds the multiplayer effect, that way you know it is a fair test across all cards.

Also the same test with AMD CPU's would be nice.

Unless this thread gains a point quickly, I have the lock in my hand already.

Bababoey Bababoey...Howard Stern!! I stopped listening to that show since it was pulled from the public airways on 94.1 Philadelphia many years ago.

I am joking Morphine hold onto that lock for now. I for one have no idea what some of these posts mean. I must not have read something in another thread.
